What the site is
Marriage Heat is an English-language erotic story site for married readers, and most of its stories and their comment threads are free to read without an account. The guidelines say the site will "keep most stories and their comments available to the general public, with some premium content set aside for our supporting members", and the donation page says that "Since 2012, Marriage Heat has been free".
The framing is Christian and monogamous. The guidelines give the mission as "to help build and support a culture of hot biblical monogamy", the donation page calls the site "an anonymous community" of "committed Christians", and the home page title reads "Erotic Sex Stories - Marriage Heat Stories to Spice up your World!". The terms say the website is operated by MarriageHeat, LLC. Stories may be true or invented, but every one of them is about a husband and wife.
The free stories and how they are organized
The Stories page lists the newest pieces first, each with a date, a comment count, an author username and the opening line, and its pager runs to 386 pages. The page meta description promises "Thousands of free erotic sex stories celebrating hot married sex". The top menu adds Discussion, Story Prompts, Recommended Resources and a site search, and a Recent Comments block shows where members are talking.
Labels tell a reader what a story holds before opening it. An (L) after a title marks sexual language or strong expletives, (A) marks anal play, and (F) marks fantasy or role-play between the spouses, and each story repeats the warning in its first line, as in "This story contains strong language". BDSM and kink stories are allowed under the bywords "Safe, sane, consensual, and loving" and carry a category tag on the byline that the guidelines call an "early warning system" for anyone who prefers to skip them. Serial stories are welcome as long as each part stands alone, and some posts belong to themed series.
Each story page has a rating out of 5 ("Average rating / 5" with a vote count), a heart button to thank the author and share buttons for Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Pinterest and mail. The site also runs non-fiction posts: advice requests from members, tips articles and discussion threads, such as a member asking for recommendations of other Christian sexuality groups.
The community side
The site calls itself a community, and the donation page says members "encourage one another through posts and comments while maintaining boundaries". Those boundaries are concrete. A member notes on a discussion thread that "There is no direct or private messaging available", and a moderator note on the same thread says the site will not allow members to share social media profiles. The guidelines ask commenters not to ask about other members' appearance, not to let comments turn into one-on-one chats and not to post the same comment on several stories, and they say only administrators may post links to outside websites.
For couples, the whole library is the point. The reasons to join page says married erotica "can be a blessing to married couples as they seek to build hot monogamy" and pitches the stories as a way to "Make more love by getting in the mood". Advice requests are posted as stories without the length rule, and members answer them in the comments, which the guidelines ask to be "considerate and humble".
Accounts, submissions and the paid line
Reading needs no account; commenting and writing do. "Only registered users may comment or submit posts", and a free account asks for "a username of your choosing" and an email address, never a real name. The username "can't be changed, even by us", and it appears in the address of the author page. Free accounts with no stories posted and no sign-in for 6 months may be deleted, without touching earlier comments.
Writers submit through a Start a New Story panel, pick up to two categories, and can save drafts on their My Account page. Posts must be at least 300 words and the writer's own unpublished work. Each submission waits in a pending file until an administrator approves and schedules it; a rejected one usually goes back to draft with a notice, and an accepted one is edited for "grammatical, stylistic, and any other changes deemed appropriate", with the site assuming "full editorial control". After a first story, each writer gets an author page listing their stories, with no contact details allowed in the bio.
Payment starts only at premium content. The guidelines say stories of 2000 words or more may be published as premium content to become "part of our members-only area", and the refund policy covers "paid subscriptions, not free memberships": a subscription can be canceled up to 72 hours before the next billing date, a refund can be requested within 7 days of the first payment, and card data is handled by a third-party card processing company. The site does not publish a subscription price. Readers are also asked for "your voluntary financial donation", and the home page carries offers from its Recommended Resources section, flagged with a disclosure link.
Rules on content, pictures and rights
Stories and comments "may only involve sexual escapades between one married heterosexual couple". The guidelines rule out affairs, swinging, threesomes and other group sex, as well as premarital or extramarital sex, except in testimonies about returning to faithfulness that do not glorify it. Fantasy stories must make clear the spouses are role-playing with each other.
The site assigns a licensed stock image to each story, and writers may suggest one. It will not show images that "do more than suggest sexual acts", allows full nudity only "on occasion" with the genitals hidden by pose, and has no setting to turn images off.
Content submitted "becomes copyrighted by marriageheat.com", bylines use only the username or display name, and the terms say the site is under no obligation to remove content at an author's request. A copyright agent is reachable by email. By agreeing to the terms, users state they are "18 years of age or older", and the terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska and the United States. The contact page asks for patience, since the site runs on volunteers for whom it comes after their day jobs.
Who it suits, and who it does not
Marriage Heat suits married couples who want explicit stories about faithful marriage read within a Christian frame, and readers who like to know before clicking whether a story holds strong language, anal play or fantasy. It suits writers who want a moderated, edited home for their stories and a commenting audience of other married readers.
It does not suit anyone after stories outside one married heterosexual couple, a reader who finds religious framing off-putting, or someone who wants images switched off. The library is text stories with stock pictures, so a visitor after video or audio is in the wrong place.
The strength is a large, labeled, free library with rules spelled out in full, run by a community that has kept most of it open to read since 2012.
