What the site is

Bound Stories is a free English-language archive of bondage and BDSM fiction, and its stories page lists the library openly, with no login, price or membership step in front of it. The site's own description calls it "a free bondage stories story website", part of Gromet's Plaza, and the copyright line runs "1997 - 2026 Boundstories.net & Gromet's Plaza". The stories page counts the library as "Now 4,479 Stories" and describes them as stories about "people in bondage & bdsm scenes", either works of fiction or based on events that may have happened to the author. The material is written fiction sent in by its authors, and the archive's main page acts as the front door to it, after an adults-only entry statement.

The free offer

The menu on the stories page does the organizing. Titles are split into alphabetical ranges, Stories A-B, C-D, E-G, H-K, L-M, N-R, S-T and U-Z, so a reader who knows a title goes straight to its range. Authors get the same treatment in four ranges, A-D, E-K, L-R and S-Z, which makes following one writer's output easy. A Search for Stories entry sits beside the indexes, and the menu also links a Storycodes page, a Links page, the Plaza Forum, the wider Gromet's Plaza and a Contact page. The footer repeats contact, forum, story codes, submit stories, privacy and legal.

Fresh material arrives on the front of the stories page in two blocks, New Stories and Recent Stories. Each listing gives the title, the author's pen name, a line of codes and the date it was added, written day, month and year. The newest additions on the page are dated October 2026, and the blocks show new chapters landing several times a month. A Previously on Bound Stories link leads back to earlier additions.

Serials are a large part of what is posted. Many titles carry a series name and a chapter number, so a reader can follow a running story from one installment to the next; the current blocks hold serials past their tenth and fifteenth chapters, and some regular authors run more than one serial at a time.

The codes after each title are the archive's way of filtering by eye. They start with a pairing in the familiar slash notation (M/f, F/m, F/f, and group forms such as F+/f+ or M+F+/f+), then run through the elements of the story: bond, rope, cuffs, gag, collar, leash, chastity, harness, latex, outdoors, public, training, spanking and many more. A rating closes each line, from X through XX to XXX. Most of the listings on the current front page carry the code cons. The menu's Storycodes page is where the shorthand is spelled out, and once it is learned a reader can scan a block and skip what does not interest them.

The archive covers the whole of bondage and BDSM as fiction: rope and restraint stories, chastity and tease-and-denial serials, pony and pet play, dungeon and pillory settings, and female-led stories as well as male-led ones. Readers who come for the BDSM side will find nothing else here; it is the single theme of the site.

Writers are invited in. The Submit Stories section says "If you'd like to see your story on this site, then please send your story to me. I'd love to see your stories", sends would-be authors to a writers guide for details, and takes stories by email. The site states that every story on the page was sent by its author to be posted there, "and therefore licensed by the author", and that the stories "remain the copyright property of their respective authors".

A Links section lists other adult sites, mostly bondage photo and video sites and a few story sites, each with a short description, and a "more links" page continues the list. A Monitor this Page option lets a visitor get notice of page updates. The Plaza Forum sits in the menu and the footer; the site does not say what the forum holds or whether it needs an account.

Where free stops, and the rules

Nothing in the archive is sold. The site lists no premium tier, membership or download pack, and the stories page shows no price anywhere. What sits beside the archive is advertising for paid bondage sites: banner slots just under the menu of the stories page, under headings that include Premier Sites, and the paid sites among the Links entries. The site does not explain how those slots are arranged.

The entry page is the rulebook. It warns that the site is "18+ adults only no minors allowed" and may not be used by anyone under 18 (in some areas 21) or living in a community that prohibits adult material. Going on counts as a set of statements: the visitor affirms under penalty of perjury that they are at least 18, promises not to let anyone under 18 see the material, says they enter voluntarily and that the material fits their community's standards, and releases the creators, owners and providers from liability. That click-through is the only age check the site describes.

The same page says all content is copyrighted by Grometsplaza and the respective authors, that reproduction in any way is prohibited without the permission of both, and that Grometsplaza and Boundstories.net are not affiliated with any other company or organization. It also states that all models were at least 18 years old when the pictures were taken and consented to everything shown.

It closes with a warning in strong terms: the images and story texts "are presented here on this website as a fantasy only and should in no way be replicated by anyone", and attempting to reproduce a scene "could result in serious injury or death". The site publishes no takedown or DMCA procedure; the Contact, Privacy and Legal links are the routes it offers, and a support address handles problems with the page.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits a reader of bondage and BDSM fiction who wants a large free archive in one theme, browsable by title, by author and by date, and one who follows serials chapter by chapter. The codes reward a reader who learns them, since a single line says who is in the story, what happens and how explicit it gets. It also suits a writer looking for a place to submit, since the route and the licensing terms are both stated.

It does not suit anyone after video, or a reader who wants tags to click and filter, an account with bookmarks, or a comment thread under each story; the archive is plain index pages. The banner slots and the paid sites in the Links section sit right next to the free material.

Its strength is depth on a single subject: thousands of author-submitted stories, kept open for free, organized the way long-time readers search, by title, by author and by what is in the story.
