What the site is
PlayHorny is a free-to-play adult game platform: its English home page calls it "A free R18 gaming platform for you to enjoy!", and its HCoin terms say that, besides offering free games, it lets players spend real money on HCoin and other paid items. The site's description says it carries adult games "available on both mobile and PC," and a platform notice covers an iOS IPA installer with its settings and alternatives.
It runs in English and in 繁體中文, the Traditional Chinese edition carrying the masthead 可以瑟瑟 and the same games, news and terms. The footer names PlayHorny Ltd. with a 2024 copyright line. The full terms of use and the HCoin terms are published in Traditional Chinese only.
The footer sets out the content rules in English. It says the site "contains adult content including sex, violence, and horror," that game characters may wear outfits that emphasize their bodies, that the games are rated R-18 (Restricted) under the Game Software Rating Regulations, and that "All characters appearing on this website are over 18 years old." Access is limited to adults or those at the age of majority where they live, and the same footer asks players to watch their play time and avoid getting addicted to the games.
The free offer
The home page opens on PlayHorny's Choice, a featured row of games with their genre tags, followed by a PC Games section, a Latest News list and an Events of the Week list. The game list is a filtered, paged catalog. Each title shows its tags, and between them they cover Simulation, RPG, Card, Strategy, JRPG, Adventure, SLG, 4X, War, Puzzle, Match 3, Dating Sim, Otome, Hentai, Crime and Indie Studio. Several games are aimed at particular audiences, with BL, Furry and LGBTQ tags on their cards, and the Chinese home page adds a roguelike tag.
The news section is where the free events live. Events of the Week posts dated campaigns for the games on the platform, such as a limited hero joining a game's pick-up pool from 2026/10/07 to 2026/10/28 with a raised draw rate, and sends players to the in-game Draft screen for the details. Notices include hero build guides for a strategy title and a platform notice about the auto-renewal payment and Party Card reward distribution.
Free HCoin is part of the free side. The HCoin terms split the currency in 2: paid HCoin, bought with money, and free HCoin, which players earn through the platform's services and in particular events or conditions. Free HCoin has the same value as paid HCoin inside games, can buy in-game currency, items or services, and cannot be refunded, transferred or converted. When an account holds both, the platform spends free HCoin first and only then draws on paid HCoin.
An account carries progress between devices. The terms describe binding a game's user ID to the platform account, so that signing in syncs game progress and data across devices; each game allows one ID per platform account, and a binding cannot be changed or undone once made, which the terms ask players to choose carefully. The footer also links a Favorites page, an FAQ and a Business Inquiries page.
Support works through a form. Players pick a problem type and the game, can attach images up to 2MB in JPG or PNG, and are asked to share video through a cloud link instead of uploading it. The page says replies take about 3 to 5 working days, that service hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 18:00 (GMT+8), excluding public holidays, and that staff never ask members for card numbers or passwords.
Where free stops, and the rules
The paid side sits in the main menu: HC Top-up, Store and Party Card. The footer states that "Additional fees may apply for certain content or services." The site lists no prices for them, and the Party Card is described only through its auto-renewal notice.
Paid HCoin has no expiry, and neither does the HPower energy credited with it as a bonus, which can only be spent on the platform's own services and goods. Free HCoin lasts 180 days from receipt and then lapses with no refund or reinstatement. Payment details go to a third-party payment processor, a receipt arrives by email, and buyers must be adults. The HCoin terms warn that HCoin from unofficial channels is not recognized on the platform.
Refunds are narrow. The terms call every sale of services and digital content final unless the law says otherwise, and the HCoin terms say credited purchases are not refunded and the 7-day cooling-off right does not apply. Exceptions exist: a player who closes the account can ask for unused paid HCoin back, paid by bank transfer within 30 working days after channel, handling and transfer fees; unused paid offers can be returned after review; and if a game shuts down and asks the platform to handle refunds, unused in-game currency bought with paid HCoin comes back as paid HCoin. Breaking the terms, or obtaining HCoin by false or unlawful means, rules a refund out. HCoin, HPower and virtual goods cannot be sold, shared, traded, given away or cashed out, and they lapse when an account is suspended or closed.
Players can post their own content and are responsible for it. The platform does not endorse user content and may edit or delete anything it suspects breaks the rules without notice. Its list of banned material covers harassment and hate, intellectual property and privacy violations, unauthorized advertising and third-party links, and hardcore obscene content involving violence, sexual abuse, coercion or harm to minors. Breaches can bring a warning, suspension or account termination. Some games are limited to certain regions, and the terms forbid disguising a player's location to reach them. Disputes go first to negotiation with a 30-day reply window, then to arbitration and, if that fails, to the Taipei District Court in Taiwan as the court of first instance. The terms cite Taiwanese law for keeping personal data at least 5 years before deletion or anonymization.
Who it suits and who it does not
PlayHorny suits an adult who wants story and strategy games with adult scenes to play free on PC or a phone, from a small catalog where featured titles, events and build guides sit on one front page. Players of BL, furry and LGBTQ titles get games tagged for them, and anyone who reads Traditional Chinese gets the full terms in that language.
It suits an English-only reader less: the rules that matter most, from HCoin expiry to refunds, are published in Chinese, and the site gives no catalog total or price list. Free HCoin also runs out after 180 days. Its strength is the clarity of its currency rules: which HCoin is free, which is paid, which gets spent first and when each expires are all set down in writing.
