What the site is

GIFcandy is a free, English-language porn GIF site: short animated loops of hardcore sex, filed by category and opened with no account, no sign-up and no price anywhere on its pages. Its own description sets out the offer plainly: "Welcome to GifCandy! We collect porn gifs for you. Tons of high quality animations available for free. We add new gifs daily." The front page title is "Best porn GIFs on the internet", and the site's summary of itself promises "Hot porn with famous pornstars and amateurs. Hardcore sex. Daily updates." Those are the site's own claims about its size and pace. What a visitor actually meets is a feed of animated GIFs, each with a short caption and a "Posted in" line naming its category, and a menu of categories that repeats on every page.

The free offer

The front page feed. The home page mixes the newest GIFs from across the site, so one screen can move from Interracial to Public sex to Oily to Pussy licking, each GIF labeled with the category it was posted in. Clicking that label drops the visitor into the matching category. The feed is paged with numbered links that run to 20 and a »» link onward, which gives a sense of how deep the archive goes without the site printing a total.

The category menu. This is the main way in. The front page says a visitor can "browse sex gifs from 48 different categories here. Or just pick a random one to surprise you with unique content." The menu runs alphabetically from Amateur to Webcam and closes with a Random link that serves a GIF from anywhere in the collection. Alongside the familiar acts it holds a few less usual headings: Black and white, Funny, Oily, Kissing, Female orgasm, Outdoors and Panties, plus Pornstars and Amateur as separate shelves and a Webcam category. Funny is the odd one out, a shelf of jokes and absurd moments rather than straight arousal.

Category pages. Each category opens under a "Best ... gifs" heading with its newest posts first, every GIF captioned and tagged with its category. A "Load more" button adds the next batch on the same page, and numbered page links run to 10 with a »» link beyond, so a visitor can either keep scrolling or jump deep into the archive. Each category's description line repeats the site's pitch: "Hot sex & hardcore. Daily updates. Have fun!"

The genres in the menu. Each is its own category in the site's navigation:

• Anal is a full category, with Double penetration and Strap-on beside it.
• MILF has its own category page of GIFs posted under that label.
• Big boobs is the site's label for the genre, with Titfuck as a related shelf.
• Oral runs across Blowjob, Deep throat, Ballsucking, Face fucking and Cum in mouth, each a category of its own.
• Handjob is a separate menu category.
• Lesbians is a category, with Pussy licking and Strap-on close by for girl-on-girl material.
• BDSM is its own category, and Toys sits further down the list.

Sharing. The home page builds part of its pitch on passing GIFs around: "Tease your friends or your sex partner by sending them your favorite porn gifs from our website." It frames the short format as the point, saying GIFs offer "everything you are looking for in a porn video in a matter of seconds".

Format. The GIFs play as animated images on the page. There is no video player, no quality setting and no download button, and the site has no search box: the category menu, the feed and the Random link are the routes in.

Where free stops, and the rules

There is no paid side at all on the pages: no premium tier, membership, token or price, and no login or member area. Every category and every GIF opens to a visitor who simply arrives. The site does not say how it is funded.

The 2257 statement describes the site as a host rather than a producer. It says any real people shown "were at least 18-years old at the time those images or videos were produced", and that the operator "is not the 'producer' of any depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct that may appear on the Website". It describes its role as limited to "transmission, storage, retrieval, hosting, or formatting", with the material appearing "as the result of actions taken by third-party users of the Website", and it reserves the right to delete material it considers, "in the operator's sole discretion", to be indecent, obscene, defamatory or against its terms. The Custodian of Records heading on that page is left blank, and the site does not describe how users submit GIFs or how submissions are checked.

The DMCA page is the most complete part of the site. It says the site "will respond to allegations of copyright violations in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act", and that "when an effective DMCA notification is received, the online service provider responds by taking down the offending content". A notice needs 7 numbered items, from a signature and the work claimed to a statement under penalty of perjury and, where possible, details to notify the user who posted the material; the page adds that URLs in the notice are the quickest way to find content. A counter notice has its own 4 items, including consent to a US district court, with the Southern District of New York named for claimants outside the United States. Both go to a designated agent the page names as Kavala Marketing Ltd., care of a copyright attorney in Michigan.

The site is in English, with no app and no other language offered.

Who it suits, and who it does not

It suits a visitor who wants quick animated loops and no friction: no account, no paywall, a menu that covers the common genres and a few unusual ones, and a Random link for idle browsing. Someone who likes to send a GIF to a partner or friend is exactly who the home page writes for. The Funny and Black and white shelves give it some character a plain category grid would not have.

It suits a visitor less well who wants full-length video, sound, quality options or a search box, since GIFs and a category menu are all there is. Someone who wants to know how uploads are vetted gets little beyond the 2257 statement's general wording.

Its strength is simplicity: every GIF is free to open, the archive is sorted into clear categories, and the copyright and counter-notice routes are set out item by item.
