What the site is

ZedPorn is a free porn tube, and its mobile edition streams the library on a phone with no payment, most of it without an account. The terms put it plainly: "User access to the Site is free of charge. We do not provide paid memberships of any kind." They add that "much of the Site is available without creating an account".

The mobile home calls itself "Zed Porn mobile" and offers a Desktop link to the full site. Its menu holds Live Sex, Categories, Newest, Top Rated and Top Viewed. The terms cover a small group of sister tube sites, ZedPorn among them, and send questions to an address at TubeAlliance, so the site is one of a network rather than a stand-alone tube.

The free offer

The home page is the newest-videos feed. Fresh clips carry a "new" label and their runtime, and the list pages on and on: the newest list is titled "Sex Videos, Page 3 of 12033" on its third page, which gives a sense of the depth of the free library in the site's own numbering.

The categories page is the main way in. It is an alphabetical index with a video count beside every heading, and it runs over several pages. The counts are the site's own and they are large for the broad genres: 1080p at 41,632 videos, Blowjob at 41,668, Big tits at 20,357, Big dick at 17,603, Babes at 12,606 and Anal at 7,311. Smaller headings narrow things further, such as BBW at 1,385, BDSM at 487 and Bondage at 368, and the list runs on through settings, outfits and body types such as Bedroom, Bikini, Blonde and Brunette. A 1080p heading of that size is the quickest route to high-definition clips.

A separate tags page sorts the library by orientation: Straight at 64,366 videos, Lesbian at 5,970, Shemale at 972, Gay at 644 and Bisexual at 215. Most of the library is tagged Straight, but lesbian, trans and gay clips each sit one tap away.

Category pages are more than bare lists. The big ass page, titled "Big Ass Videos: Free Porn Tube of Thick Butt Girls", opens with a short description of what it collects, lists its clips with their runtime, and closes with a second paragraph saying the clips "stream with a click", from solo striptease scenes to hardcore ones. Its list is paged in the same way as the newest feed.

The Top Rated list ranks clips by a percentage score and shows a second figure beside each one, and the Top Viewed list sorts by views. The footer adds a Longest Videos list for viewers who want longer clips, and a Tags link. A visitor can therefore pick a clip by date, by score, by views or by length, and each list's pager shows how many pages it runs to.

Membership is optional. The terms say a visitor becomes a user simply by visiting, and that someone becomes a member by registering for a user ID and password or by joining one of the site's live communication features as a guest. Registration opens "certain non-public portions of the Site". The terms also mention member profiles and forums, which they say the site may monitor at its discretion.

Where free stops, and the rules

Any paid offer belongs to another company. Under a Premium Membership heading, the terms explain that such memberships and subscriptions "are provided in part or entirely by third parties", whatever branding they carry, and leave it to the visitor to read that outside company's own terms.

Advertising pays for the library. The terms describe a site that "contains advertisements, communications, and links posted by independent third parties", urge visitors to use their own judgment when responding to them, and say the site is not responsible for interactions between users and advertisers. The footer has an Advertising link for buyers.

Free use comes with limits on what a visitor may do with the clips. The terms allow the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only and forbid copying or distributing any part of it without written permission. If the license ends because a visitor breaks the agreement, the terms say that person must "immediately destroy any information or Materials" downloaded, printed or copied from the site. They also warn that features may be unavailable at times because of maintenance or technical problems.

The rules on content are short but firm. The 2257 statement says "This Site only permits depictions of individuals who were 18 or older when the depictions were created", claims an exemption from the record-keeping rules, and says the company "does not act as a producer" of that material; questions go to a site email address. Visitors certify they are over 18. The terms set a zero-tolerance policy on any material involving minors, ask visitors to report questionable images by email with the date and time they saw them, and say every report is investigated. Uploaders are "entirely responsible" for what they post, and the site may delete anything it considers illegal or offensive.

Copyright follows a notice-and-takedown policy. Notices go to a designated agent at an outside law firm and must carry a signature, a description of the work, its location on the site, contact details, a good-faith statement and a statement under penalty of perjury. An uploader can answer with a counter-notification, after which the material is restored within 10-14 days unless a court action is filed. Repeat infringers lose their accounts, and the page warns that false claims can bring liability for damages and costs. The terms carry an effective date of 10 January 2014.

Who it suits and who it does not

ZedPorn suits a phone user who wants to stream without signing up: the mobile edition is plain, every list is free, and the counted category index shows at a glance where the library is deep. It suits a viewer who wants 1080p clips, since that heading is among the biggest, and anyone who sorts by orientation, since lesbian, trans and gay clips each have their own tag.

It suits less well a visitor who likes a tightly sorted genre board, since the index mixes genres with settings and outfits in one long alphabet, or one who wants to know what a free account adds, since the terms only speak of non-public areas. Paid offers come from outside sites, and their terms are separate. The strength is a large, fully free library behind a plain mobile layout, with clear 2257, reporting and copyright rules.
