PlayVids

What the site is

PlayVids is a free porn tube that mixes member uploads with sponsored studio channels, and anyone can watch any video on it without paying or signing in. The FAQ answers its own first question, "How much does PlayVids cost?", with "PlayVids is 100% free of charge", adding that a visitor can watch as many videos as they want and use all of the site's features.

The interface is in English, with Español and Deutsch in the footer. The home page is titled "Free Full HD Porn Videos & Sex Movies", and its own copy calls the site the "only oldest, largest and absolutely free porn tube site on the Internet", a claim that is the site's own. The terms name Sun Social Media, Inc. as the company that provides the service.

The free offer

The home page runs three feeds: "Trending Porn Videos", a strip titled "New sponsored videos we like" with studio scenes, and "Newest Porn Videos", where uploads were an hour or two old. Each tile shows the running time, the uploader or channel, the upload date, a rating percentage and an HD badge where it applies. A "Top Trending Pornstars" strip and footer lists of the most popular categories, channels and performers round it off, and the newest feed pages on.

The home page copy says the site offers "full HD and 4K quality free of charge" and adds HD and VR videos "Everyday". The FAQ notes that higher resolutions such as 720p and 1080p take longer to process than 480p after an upload, so the quality a video plays in depends on what its uploader sent.

The categories page announces "432 well organized porn categories" with a "Show by letter" filter and a block of suggested and most-watched categories, where Anal stands at 87,823 videos and Lesbian at 60,662. The genre memberships are named categories there. MILF has Amateur MILF and Busty MILF beside it; Mature sits with Grannies and Fat Mature; BBW has its own anal and gangbang variants; Big Tits and Big Natural Tits are separate. Blowjob, Handjob, Femdom (with Femdom Handjob and Femdom POV), Ebony (with Ebony Amateur and Ebony MILF), Fetish, BDSM, Bondage and Foot Fetish are all listed, and Lesbian has Lesbian Orgasm and Lesbian Massage beneath it. A separate Gay Porn section runs its own feeds and hashtag pages.

Search works across the library with filters for upload time (last hour, today, this week, this month, this year) and length ("Short (~ 5 minutes)" or "Long (20+ minutes)"), sorted by upload date, relevance or rating; a search for "porn free" returned 1,946 videos. The channels page invites members to "Create your own channel" and lists trending channels with their views, video counts and followers, from studio channels with thousands of videos to the site's own "PlayVids Official". The pornstars page lists "Pornstars of the Month" and a ranked list of 100 performers with video counts.

What a free account adds

The sign-up page says "It's Free and always will be" and lists uploading, creating channels, commenting, organizing videos into playlists and following members and channels. It asks for a gender (single, couple or group options) and a content orientation: straight, lesbian, gay or transsexual. The FAQ adds a personal member's page for favorites, rating, browsing other members' profiles, sending them messages and a Watch Later list reached through "My Videos". The home page states the one free extra that matters most: "Only for PlayVids members we offer you to download HD and VR Porn videos for free."

Uploads take mpg, avi, mpeg, wmv, 3gp, mp4, mov, asf and flv files. The FAQ asks uploaders to add tags (names, hair color or body type, the main action), says processing can take from minutes to hours, and suggests re-uploading if a video is still processing after 8 hours.

Where free stops, and the rules

There is no paid tier on the site. The terms still reserve the right "to charge for any or all of our services" and to change fees, say fees would follow "additional rules posted on the Website", and rule out refunds after a ban. Advertising pays the bills: "Advertisement" blocks sit between feeds, the menu carries a studio link, and an advertise page sells desktop, mobile or combined placements through a form or by email.

The terms require users to be 18, or the age of majority where that is higher. Uploaders must own or be licensed to post their material, keep written records under 18 U.S.C. 2257 that everyone shown is over 18, and hold written consent from each identifiable person. The FAQ says the site may refuse anything "illegal, harassing, harmful, abusive, obscene or hateful" and that "PlayVids remove videos that violate our terms", and a deleted favorite may have been removed by its uploader or a moderator. The 2257 statement says PlayVids "is not a producer of any content found on this website", sends record requests to the site or user that supplied it, admits it "may not be 100% accurate", and asks visitors to flag content by email or the link on each page.

Copyright notices go by email to a designated agent under Title 17, Section 512, and a user who draws three good-faith complaints within six months is barred. The contact form warns that legal notifications sent through it "will not be processed". An "Embeddable Player" may be used on personal, non-commercial sites with a link back. Claims go to courts in Anguilla, and the terms are dated November 24, 2013. The FAQ points phone users to a separate mobile version and still says the player "requires the Flash 9.0 or higher" and a 600+kbps connection; the site mentions no app.

Who it suits and who it does not

PlayVids suits a visitor who wants a no-paywall tube with a deep category list and a search that filters by date and length, and a member who wants to upload, keep playlists, run a channel or download HD and VR files without paying.

It suits someone who wants a studio-only catalog less well: much of the feed is user-posted, quality depends on the uploader, and ads and sponsored strips are part of every page. Its strength is how much a free account opens up: downloads, channels and playlists, with no price attached to any of them.
